It is that passion for community-minded news and features that inspired us to start The Cedar Falls News Hub (CFNH). We decided to invest our efforts in this digital publication because we believe storytelling connects the community in ways that no other activity does.
We are thrilled to create this special space for stories and happenings because The Cedar Falls News Hub is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
This means that the content we curate and create is accessible to everyone, not just readers with paid subscriptions. You will not have to scroll through ads to continue reading and learning. Instead, you will be able to enjoy stories about the community and cheer on the successes of people and places we profile.
Our goal is to serve the community we live in and tell, with energy and vigor, the stories of our neighbors, their dreams and achievements.
As we grow, we will also focus on regular coverage of our local government and city initiatives as well as small businesses which are the backbone of our community.
Our planned method of funding this enterprise will be through grants and donations. But for now, we are counting on our own resources to make The Cedar Falls News Hub a reality.
